Over the past few weeks a group of Year 9 students have been working hard to design, create and plan a product or service in association with Northamptonshire Police to help combat and prevent Knife Crime within the UK. As part of the process students were required to create and perform a ten minute 'dragons den' style pitch in front of senior police officers and representatives at the Northamptonshire Police Headquarters. The students idea of interactive adverts received high praise on the day and the students should be proud of their performance and efforts.

With over 22 schools participating, it was going to be a challenge to reach the Grand Final next month, but it was a challenge they relished and took advantage of!

Successfully qualifying for the final with flying colours, the idea will now have to pitched at the Castle Theatre in Wellingborough!!! The team of Lottie Hill, Kayla Lawrence, Alfie Bacon, Kyra Osbourne and Mckenzie Pengelly should be extremely proud of themselves and I for one will be supporting them all the way to the final!!!
