And we are off again...

This week another 3 groups are headed out on their qualifying expeditions as part of the Bronze Duke of Edinburgh scheme.

Students have planned their routes carefully around a camp over at East Calton park. On each day students must journey for 6 hours incorporating breaks and a lunch stop. They will all be carrying around 10-15kg in their rucksacks with everything they need to survive for two days. This including all their food, clothes, tents, cooking stoves, sleeping bags etc.

The challenge will test their ability to work as a team under pressure and demonstrates all the values that underpin Team Rushden.

The weather is set to be a hot one which you might think they will be happy with… However the heat will only add to the challenge further!

We wish them all the best of luck I am sure they will all be successful!
