Have you #GotTheBottle to prevent plastic pollution?

National Refill Day is an awareness campaign to get the UK public to stop bottling it when it comes to our drinking water.

We want to create a new social norm for refilling on the go – saving us money, keeping us hydrated and preventing millions of single-use plastic bottles at source.

If you bring in a reusable (not an empty single use plastic bottle) to school on Wednesday 19th to refill during the day you will be awarded an AP point in form time!

Do you believe that every positive change no matter how small is a change for the better? If we all play our small part we can make a difference. Here at Rushden Academy we want to do our bit for the planet - and that needs you to help decide what actions that will take. If you would like to be on the new eco committee which will meet once a term and be in charge of 3 projects then please submit your name, form, a reason why you want to be involved and an idea of what we could do in person or by email to Miss Wiles (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) by 19th June.

Team Rushden- together we can make a difference!
