A total of 295 students with excellent attendance and behaviour have qualified to go on one of this years rewards trips on Friday 12th July. Invitations will be handed out to students during Registration this week.

This year, the trips are going to Thorpe Park, Skirmish Paintballing, Ten Pin Bowling/Pizza Hut/Laser Maze and Box End Water Park (students MUST be able to swim 50m). Please note that some of the trips are restricted in size due to the nature of the activity and as a result places will be allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.

The qualifying date to receive an invitation was 5th April 2019 using the criteria agreed by the Student Council at the beginning of the academic year and as detailed in previous newsletters as;

¨ Have 95% attendance or above

¨ Have had no SLT Detentions

¨ Have no more than 3 Non Negotiable detentions.

Those students who do not meet the criteria but feel they have a valid reason for receiving an invitation, ie serious injury which resulted in an absence from school, will need to go and see their Head of Year to discuss the matter further.
