KS4 2017 Examination Results

61% of our pupils have achieved good GCSE passes in English and Maths, this is the highest it has ever been.

More of our pupils have gained 5 plus GCSEs, and as a consequence more are progressing into their first choice post 16 courses.

Key Points:

  • Average results for A level students was C-
  • 84% of students progressed onto either further education or employment.
  • Number of students enrolled to study mainly A levels 86.4%

 

KS4 2016 Examination Results

  • There was a 10% improvement on GCSE Attainment with 45% students achieving 5 A* to C GCSEs including English and Maths.
  • Due to a negative progress 8 score the academy is working incredibly hard to rectify this for summer 2017.
  • There has been a significant improvement in A* to B grades, which was particularly evident Science.
  • Students do particularly well in GCSE Art & Design, Performing Arts and PE.
